Important Information Regarding Visiting Your Loved Ones - Click Here To Read

How do I know it’s time for assisted living?

Ask yourself: is your family member becoming slower and less agile…more at risk for a fall? Is your family member able to accomplish basic tasks such as cooking and grocery shopping? Is he or she experiencing difficulty with vision or hearing loss or following instructions? Are medications being taken on schedule and in the amounts specified?  Is your loved one feeling alone or sad without engaging in many of life’s activities?

The key to assisted living is ensuring that you or someone you care about is remaining safe and independent for as long as possible. Many residents are healthier and happier when they become part of a caring community.

What can I expect from assisted living?

If you or someone you love needs some extra help with certain everyday tasks – eating, bathing, or remembering to take medications, for example – you can rest a little easier at our facility. At the same time, residents can anticipate enjoying a wide range of social, fitness, cultural and educational opportunities through our comprehensive programming.

How is the care level determined?

Upon moving in, our care team will assess the resident’s health and review medical history and normal routines. Then we will develop a care plan that is customized to keep the resident safe, protected, and engaged.

What happens if care needs change over time?

As long as care needs are not greater than the highest level of care for which we’re licensed, your loved one is welcome to live here even if health declines. We will gladly speak with you about any concerns you may have.

What if there is a medical emergency?

Our staff members are on site 24 hours a day to respond quickly and call emergency services if needed.

How much will it cost?

The cost is determined by a number of factors, including the amount of support needed and room rental fees. Many state and federal programs, including veterans’ benefits and some long-term care insurance plans, offer financial assistance for certain senior level expenses. We can help guide you in the right direction in determining affordability.

What is included in the pricing?

You can expect three nutritious meals, fresh linens and towels wellness checks, advanced safety protocols and our well-attended in-house programming activities.

What if the resident is picky about food?

We know the importance of proper, well-balanced nutrition. At the time of admission or any time within the stay, let us know about food allergies or dislikes. There are many delicious food items to choose from, prepared by our expert chefs.
